here's a theoretical methodology flow chart. please comment, especially on the notes in () ------->innoculate 50ml brf/of/suc media with spores, allow ~3 days growth (ambient{room temp}, dark place?) ------->use to innoculate 500ml culture media, recipe in previous post, allow to grow, ambient, dark place, allow colonization (+ antibiotic mixture: amp, kan, tet...?) ------->use to innoculate sterile (3:2) brf/vermiculite in sealed rubbermaid container, store cool dark place, allow colonization ------->crumble onto thin layer (1") of pasteurized mix of peat, vermiculite, fine woodchips/sawdust, manure in equal parts in a foil baking dish, cover with an equal amount of material ------->transfer into plastic storage tub with a 1" layer of moist perlite/vermiculite in bottom, cover with lid ------->allow several days for mycelial network to recover ------->expose to light 20min/day (is this a major risk for contamination when the substrate is already dominated by mycellium) to initiate pinning ------->regulate temp and humidity to encourage maximum fruiting ------->harvest ------->case again for second flush? or just let it go.

It sounds like you're good to get started. If you're going to put all your eggs in one basket, the anti-biotics might be a good idea. I still don't think I'd add them, though.

The 1" layer at the bottom probably isn't necessary. And I don't think extra light will give you any contam probs. Stamets recommends at least 4 hours per day to induce pinning.

Word is that B+ are found of woodchips. Good luck man..
