depends on how you look at the moment

the moment as in the perceptual solitary timeframe?

or as the single point of all-that-is along the timeframe?

i think i know what you mean, the moment of clarity, when you just ARE. no buzzing, no stressing, no wondering. just the feeling that now is important.

not in the context of time... simply because it can be recognized, infinitly, but we tend to ignore it.

""i think i know what you mean, the moment of clarity, when you just ARE. no buzzing, no stressing, no wondering. just the feeling that now is important.""

if you know what i mean, you know more than i do? anyways.. nothing is important?  you have to make it/feel it/think it is if so? and therby escaping the moment?

the moment is in us and do not feel, wonder nor anything?

""simply because it can be recognized""
the idea is that the moment IS the recognizion??
wwords are fun?

I think that if we live in the moment, we recognize that it lives in us... What about a person who has never identified it or consciously felt and thought about it... then can we only say the moment still lives in them, but not vice versa?

Interesting that you said that... he lives the moemnt, being the moment, which lives within him without him realizing it.

Sounds a lot like how I try to relate the ego.. the ego becomes "I" without us being aware of it, because we are unaware in the first place. One must constantly question their own consciousness' "quality".. we must attempt to peel back what we've come to identify with (as our "selves".. the "I") to know whether or not it is legitimate.

Those who've never tried to peel back the quasi-"I" go on believing that they are this quasi-"I" because to peel off one's self is to destroy one's self.

Therefore, someone who identifies with their ego as themselves cannot shed their ego for fear of shedding themselves.

Once we've been forced (drug induced, or otherwise) to acknowledge the ego as a mask we wear, it becomes drastically easier to remove the mask, because the fear of losing one's self in the process has been laid to rest.

Anyway.. I thought all that was fairly relevant.. but I choose to acknowledge that I very well may be wrong. (And that's the beauty of it.)

:yesnod:

"everyone consciously feel the moment?"
To an extent, yes. I think everyone does at some point experience the moment on this aware, conscious level too. I think feelings of happiness and love bring on inner peace and can trigger this awareness in anyone. Maybe experiences like deja vu make you aware too? Or coming out of a deep daydream?
