Deer crap?

There isn't much for horses and cows around. I was wondering if deer crap would work. There are a ton of deer around, especially at some feeder's just outside of town. I have a hard time believing deer shit wouldn't work, I mean they eat grasses and grains and basically the same junk as a cow or horse. Deer shit even comes in convenient little nuggets. So let me know, or give your opinion.

maybe you are trying something that hasent been tested before.

take pics and make a growlog nomatter what the results are like :smile:

Not to draw from my subject, but has anyone ever tried pasterizing a really old rotten log and tried growing on it?

Wouldn't think the log idea would be good for cubes, which im assuming your trying to grow.

I really doubt anyone has ever tried to grow on deer shit, and I agree with you that it's probably not much different and worth a shot, If you aren't stretched for spores, why not give it a shot and let us know?

deer poo will work, you'll want to dry it and grind it to something finer than
pellets in order to make it more like composted poo from a farm...

K, Thanks for the input, I'm going to go collecting tonight, the deer trails were covered in shit last year, like 3 inches deep on the trails by the feeders, so it shouldn't be too hard to collect a good amount.

i got tons of deer poo around me, but more horse/cow crap... BUT im thinking a mix of all 3 would work even better eh?
