Mexi-Cub Strain (Need Help!)

On thehawkseye.com, they have available a cubensis strain labeled as "Mexi-cub." I was looking for information on this strain and I seem to find lots of mexican strains, but not this one. I'm thinking maybe it goes under another name usually??? If it doesn't, can someone send me to info about it? Thanks!

It might help someone to identify the strain I'm talking about if I point out that the website describes it as "always giving beautiful spotted caps, usually of a nice yellowish color instead of your typical cubensis golden tan color...sometimes it even throws off some orangish colored spotted caps."

hah i hope it's not mascaria
the website specifically lists it under cubensis...i'm so confused. it seems, from the full description, to be an amazing mushroom...but i'd like to know a little more about it before i order a crapload of it.

What are you talking about, it sound nothing like muscaria. They are very huge and red with white spots. If you don't know what a Mexi-Cube is, dont reply.
Its the same as any other cubie. It goes just as Psilocybe Cubensis Mexican, Mexican Cubensis, Mexi-cube..all them. Same thing. Different from "Mexicana" though.

Well I wanted to know most generally if it was any good, but I guess you already answered that question I'm ordering two strains from the hawks eye tomorrow and I was just trying to pick which ones. The strains that seemed the most interesting were the Mexi-cub, the PESA, the Cambodian, and the Ecuadorian. The Ecuadorian didn't interest me as much as the others, so I probably won't choose that one unless you think it would be much easier/better for me. This is my first time growing, so I'm open to advice.
The description of the Mexi-cub just made it sound SO good and I'm glad Kramer could verify that it was true. If you could ask him about any mexi-specific growing tips he might have for a first timer or any comparison of the strain with other cubs, I'd be much indebted. Things like whether or not to cold-shock and whether or not to case are hard to decide on your first time around!
I've heard that both cambodian and PESA are very potent, but I was wondering the difference between them. I'm not trying to find which is "better," but rather the differences so I can choose one over the other. I also really want a visual strain, so I don't know if one is more visual than the other.
Thanks for clearing up my confusion(s)!

Ive read someplace that mexi-cube was a prefered strain of Terence Mckenna.

I love the strain, it's very versatile and grows in varying conditions, much like B+.
