mycelia colonization

ok so.. when i first inoculated the cakes.. nothing happened for a good 5 days.. than it sprouted up nearly fully colonized after 9 days.. well now for 4 days it hasnt done anything.. its brf/verm any suggestions? thanks much

If the growth has paused, you might try flipping your jars. How do you have your jars prepared. Filter etc...

my jars arent really jars.. there drinking glass's.. (couldnt find any damn jars).. they are set up as such: the glass with brf/verm 3 layers of tinfoil.. and thats it.. there in a dresser with a space heater in it.. doesnt seem to warm them up to well but oh well..

The temperature inside of your jars is going to be a bit warmer than that of the surrounding air. I'd try loosening up the foil a bit and turning them sidways. Probably too much c02 buildup.

what do u mean loosening up the foil a bit? it seems as if its either fully strapped on or its completely off..

I did notice mycelium growing in spurts at times. Just make sure there's no moisture(piss or water) on the uncolonized area and let it sit for a bit longer. Sometimes it took couple of days before light and think mycelium started reaching out again.
Just a suggestion, though.

wow.. that was poor typing. should read, "light and thin". light as in whitish(kinda looks grey with darker substrate background) and very think but fluffy growth. Wish I had a pictures... It's growth very similar to when you notice fluffy stuff after germination.
