I never even heard of those mushrooms. So I looked them up online and found a short description at http://www.stainblue.com/hoogshagenii.html and a picture at http://leda.lycaeum.org//Images/Psilocybe_hoogshagenii.11701.jpg
Seems like they are generaly found in Mexico, Argentina, and Columbia. Have a good trip and good luck.

ps Gave you 5 shrooms. 441 posts and no rating? That just ain't right.

Hi bio, nice to see you popping up from time to time...

anyway, it's very unlikely that you'll find mushrooms in mexico at that time, mushroom season ends approx. in middle october in huautla. btw this is the place where to look, locals sell hoogshageeni as "pajaritos" to tourists, but in no way they are mexicana. i once sent a print to workman, but he wasn't able to fruit it.

good luck!

hmmm....the semperviva i fruited is very close to the hoogs, so i guess the same method should work (grasseed/shredded straw wit peat/lime casing)
anyway...without prints no chance
i ?ll play around with caerulescens and sempers for now...
