how magic r these?

been raining for a week here in Toronto with very little sunny periods in between

me and some friends wanted to try some shrooms
after paying 30$ for 1/8 and spliting it with my friend, we got no effects at all......... what a waste of cash

so I went to the local park to find some and here is what i found

i dont have a book yet so i cant identify these
any1 where i can buy a good shroom book?

this one was growing under a pine tree
found 3 of em



there are about 40 of these growing in grass

will check out some horse stable and some cow farms later on......

the first one i dunno, but definately not magic, the 40 others are paneolina foenisecci, also not magic

The first pic is of Agaricus campestris, it is a very tasty edible! Closest you came come to the store bought pizza/button mushrooms(portabellas) The second pic appears to be of Pan. foenisecii and its not good for much of anything.

Go to any good book store for a mushroom identification book. I would reccomend audobons guide to north american mushrooms for starters, and then paul stamets Psilocybe mushrooms of the world(which will be harder to find and will likely have to be ordered)
