I am not too experianced in the field of mushroom hunting, but here is what I found today. It was found on the side of a path (mulch) in the grass.

The first pic is the same kind. I couldnt squeeze to see if it turned blue because it was in an awkward place and it didnt want to pull it out

Read the forum rules. That is a little brown mushroom, 90% unidentifiable from a picture. If you never picked it, we can't I.D. it.

They both look like little orange poisonous mushrooms to me.
It would be near impossible to positively ID the species though.
Hope that helps...

if you want actives look for something that worth looking at for 2 reasons.. a. most actives are at least a few inches long.. and b. what the hell are you going to do with 1 tiny immature active mushroom

Yes.. a bunch of small mushrooms.. Do you know how many mushrooms look alike when their about an inch high? Its like trying to tell what kind of tree it is when its just sprouting, just isn't very easy.. Especially if you don't include a spore print, or even show us the gills.

As I said, they are in an awkward position and attempting to do that would result in pulling the mushroom out...since theres only 2 i want to see what it turns out to be.
