Blue Cake/ Potent or Contam

Two of my cakes just started fruiting. I don't have any other methods of keeping the terrenium humid except by spraying directly into the, and indeirectly onto the cakes.
The shrooms that were growing were very short and fat, I read that this is due to low humidity. So I stepped up the sprays and fanning.
Than I noticed that one side of the cakes is blue, more blue than green, but definely not white. I picked what I could from the cakes and are letting them sit now to see what they do.

Could it be that the cakes themselfs turn blue with potency durring fruiting? Or is this just a blue contam?

I believe it is okay, just part of oxidation, for I have experienced the same. Any other takes?

Yeah, dried out cakes will turn blue, also, they will bruise blue when you pick a crop. It should fade a bit, but not entirely go away for a while. Also, it would probably be a better idea to dunk your cakes then spray them directly. If you sprayed them real heavily and there is huge water droplets laying on them, that can also lead to bruising, and possible contams if the water isn't aborbed soon or evaporated. Remember, you only want to mist cakes not have huge drops and pools of water on them.
