    #3200441 - 09/30/04 02:56 PM (19 years, 5 months ago)

hey. i just got a clone from namaste it was extremely healthy with roots and baby leaves. im worried though that the humidity isnt high enough for her. she looks a little dry im spraying her like three times a day. You think i should add a humidity tent.

heres a pic

heres the pot i was thinkin of putting saran rap over it would this be good or bad?

Peace and love niggas

I'd give it a week or two to root and draw in nutrients before you look for any growth.

That's just my feelings tho.
Is she doin well?

If you still have the ziplock that she was sent in, you should be able to turn it upside down over the top of the pot to make a humidity tent.

Here is a picture of the S. Divinorum Namaste sent me.

It has shown noticable signs of growth.

She was put in a 2-gallon pot along with Shultz's cactus soil providing nice drainage and aeration.

glad to know the blackness around the edges of the stem ain't just me.
She's rooting herself fairly well in my case, but the few shoots that came with ehr are dying off.....considering humidty tent after tonight,

Well, your guys' seem to be doing relatively well. My sides are still black as is the top, but it seems to be doing a little better each day (I hope). I'll take pictures of it tonight as well as tomorrow and the compare them to see how it seems to be doing.

one of the little shoots growing off the side of the cutting has grown at least half an inch!

The sprout is more towards green color than the yellow it was when she arrived.

I'm 99% sure she's gonna make it.

It's probably a shoot that developed from a node that you buried when planting the cutting. Nothing else could just spring up like that, as it's obviously not a seedling of some other plant type. Just let it be.

Yes that is a Salvia shoot. I agree with Hooty, its coming from the node you buried. I have one as well and she is doing great!
