Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

That last shot makes me think it may be a Lactarius of some sort.

They look like over-aged ringless honey mushrooms to me.
The ones that I have found always turn dark with age. I found tons of them this year. It's not too uncommon for the caps to become upturned.

yea im on the search for dinner not just trips heh.. if i would have gotten to that sooner damn i would have had one hell of a meal.. they dont have any secretion so not lactarius

maybe those are waxy caps or somethin? I dont know. Ive seen those around too...They are pretty common.. Sometimes you think they are flower bushes from far away, then they turn out to be mushrooms growing out of stumps and what-not... Yeah i dont know. They are very fragile, and almost seem forever-rotten. Geez, I would like to know what they are too.

holy shit.. yer in New Jersey? I just looked at the first pic. I looks like somethin i saw, here in WA. Well, good luck and those others look kinda sketchy too. i would throw some bacon on top, and feed them to a mouse. See what happens, eh?

I think you've got it. My best guess would be some species of Armillaria. The prints should be white. No clue on the species.
