contam question

i am new a newbie to growing, my first jar that i inoculated, has produced some green mold like contamitnation, any idea what might have caused this type on contamination?

Mold spores usually cause that.

Where is the mold? Right near innoculation point(s)? near top, bottom? How did you sterilize?

i followed the mmgg step by step, i am using 1pint jars instead of half pint, the most of the mold is on top under the lid, but there is also some near the inoculation points

Your verm layer was too thin most likely, and you didn't alcohol wipe the needle I assume, so the syringe was probably fine, just a dirty needle. Thats how we learn :)

now that i think about it you are right, i did the first jar, and i realized that the vermaculite layer was alittle thin, and i dont think i did wipe the needle the first time,
i have two more jars going that a did about 2 days after the first and i took alittle more care with them. they look good so far.
just wanted to make shure i didnt screw up again

i only got green mould about twice.
my jars were more prone to pink and yellow moulds...
any idea what these two are? they were both pretty common.
