Water Droplets???
    #3266239 - 10/22/04 10:20 PM (19 years, 3 months ago)

Alright, whats the deal with water droplets on the surface of your casing? I misted a little too much and now I have a few on each casing, not a lot though but when you flash it with the light they reflect and shit so you can see a few. Is there something I can do to the casing to fix it (if its a problem) or do they just dry up once the shrooms start growing? Thanks.

Or until they go away. Fan a little more often as well. Introduction of the drier air will help evaporate it. Once myc starts popping up they don't need much water..VERY light mistings are all thats needed (like one or two pumps with a hand pump sprayer over the casings so the mist falls on it).

Wow you guys! Listen you'll want that casing surface "glistening" with moisture before the myc pokes it lovely head thru this is called "near saturation" and is what myc thrives in then once you see myc stop misting, the casing will now have the moisture content to carry it through the pinning stage perfectly this of course is if the myc comes up evenly if not patch with very moist casing and initiate. BTW mushrooms love water if ya haven't figured that out yet  This is what the surface should look like with perfect moisture content!
