Listen you'll want that casing surface "glistening" with moisture before the myc pokes it lovely head thru this is called "near saturation" and is what myc thrives in then once you see myc stop misting, the casing will now have the moisture content to carry it through the pinning stage perfectly this of course is if the myc comes up evenly if not patch with very moist casing and initiate. BTW mushrooms love water if ya haven't figured that out yet
