ID My First Cyanofibrillosas?

Meadownymph and I went for a stroll today and we were extremely excited with what we found growing in the grass. I think they're fibs. We had to leave a lot behind that were too dank. The biggest caps were 5.5 cm! Sorry, blade o'grass got in the way and messed up my focus. The stems are 3.5 inches long and thick. Are they the elusive fibrillosa?

Thanks MJ. Very cool. The funny thing was I knew it as soon as I saw them. They're way bigger than I imagined them to be from pictures I've seen. Obscene.

I heard fibs lose 70% of their potency in the drying process. Is this an uncanny truth or urban legend?

Wow, thanks for the compliment. I've been diligently learning alot. Cardboard, I want to thank you for the image of the first cyan patch in B-ham. I printed a color copy of your image, and as luck would have it, my printer was running out of ink. The print came out an orange, red and green army of actives which looked so trip I put it on my wall. Much thanks also to azurescens, who answered my silly questions and motivated me before the season started. You guys rock!

Incredible find. They look even better than the pictures I've seen in the past. It's good to see something new from Seattle after 3 weeks cyan posts.

Same here! Cardboard's pictures inspired me to give it a shot this season. They are still my PC background

What do you know about the psilocin/psilocybin content as compared to Cyans? I read there are differences. I'm still interested in the drying and potency issue. Somebody knows...As far as tolerance goes...is it like smoking a different strain of weed when the old variety isn't working when you ingest a different psilly?

I tried looking them up on the net and couldn't find them.
Would they be under any other name?????
I also wondered about potency.
I take it they're fibrous...hence the fibrillosa name??? I found some mushrooms yesterday and today that look a lot like those. Where can I find the cardboard pics?????
Thanks! L

Psilocine is high, were as psilocybin is lower then cyans. Psilocine degrades in drying, but when eaten fresh it is converted to psilocybin in the liver.
If this is incorrect, somone correct me, but I read this a ways back and this has been what I thought to be true.

Psilocybin is converted to psilocin. Psilocin is the version which is able to pass through the blood brain membrane.

@cro's got it. Psilocybin is converted to psilocin in the liver which then is able to cross the blood brain barrier, and block up all those 5-HT2 receptors.
I know too much, damn you, psilocybin research project.
