    #3266318 - 10/23/04 12:42 AM (13 years, 2 hours ago)

Ok bought a new digi thermometer.  It has no instruction. Its got dual LCD readout one says "In" one says "Out"

Which Reading do I concern myself with ??

It also has the min/max option (dont know what that does).

Thanks All

JaRRn

Acurite huh? LoL. "Out" is the little sensor attached to the wire. "In" is the whole thing with LCD. If you want to read humidity you got to use the whole thing, not the little sensor. Good Luck.

Accurite is the shittiest thermo/Rh meter I've ever used. When the entire device was in a sealed container the In and Out had two completely different temps (one I remember was like 78 and one was like 83). Big difference there. I returned it, went to Wal-Mart and got a Oregon Scientific temp/RH meter--works great.

True but I tested mine and its pretty accurate. Said 74% RH inside a sealed container with table salt (read tek). Doesnt go past 90% though, just says HI%
