I am in the process of gettingtogether all the supplies I need so when I am ready to start I have everything on hand.Well today I found the perfect styrooam cooler for a fruiting chamber.It is called the Monster and it is HUGE!Also unlike most styrofoam coolers it doesnt have tapered sides.Its a big old box.Anyway I plan on casing when the time comes and I wondered something.Can I Just use the cooler itself as a really big casing container without first placing them in foil containers or something else?Even if I can I am not sure if I would I am just exploring options,and I still have several weeks to plan.I Dont see why I couldnt,but figured I better ask.Thanx guys(and gals)

Yes you can it is quickly becoming a new thing I inoc. my jars and when they are ready I use big tubs/bins etc... and crumble my cakes and put them in the bin, then case and watch the magic.

the only thing you may want to consider if you'd like to be a little more on the safe side is to use several smaller containers within the bigger, in order to better isolate contams if the necessity arises.

Well,thats a valid point,but what if I used a divider of some sort to split it into 1/4's.That way I would still get the same surface area,yet be able to somewhat contain any contaminants.
