Lighting

I am about ready to grow my cubensis, and I'm a newbie. I have not read anything about lighting. I know that mushrooms cant have too much light to grow but I'm curious how lighting effects it. Should I use lights? Thanks!

p. cubensis is a phototropic mushroom, meaning that it doesnt use light like plants do for growing, they use light to signal that they are at the top of the substrate, and then to start fruiting (making mushrooms). A few minutes of light a day will do this, and the mushrooms will grow towards the light, so put it above the grow box or theyll look all gay and stuff...
