my little guys r short aND fat temp is right and humidity is right do u guys think to high of co2 levels ? not a nough fresh air?!?

Most likely not enough fresh air, but it could also be a charicteristic intrinsic to the strain you are growing.

They might jkust be fatasses due to too much water availablity.
If they are fruiting on cakes and you have the cakes directly on perlite, then that is probably why.

they're short and fat because they don't have enough light.
just put them in indirect sunlight, and they'll grow thin and tall.

and that I was just doing what was necessary to stay comfortable while I waited to die...

That is simply not true. The only reason for light is to signal pinning and growing direction...shrooms do not go thru photosynthesis...they are just photoreactive.

I'd say you need more air exchange and kick the humidity down a notch while you are at it.
