Favorite strains?

I'm thinking about starting my first grow soon so I decided I'll test out 4 different strains. I know that everyone says that any strain is a good one but I want to see what the favorites are. So far I think I'm getting 1 Golden Geacher and 1 cambodian, but am not too sure about the others. Which strain is your favorite?

Ive always had good luck with B+ strain cubenesis, but I want to try a much more potent strain because my contamination was extrememly minimal. I guess people say B+ is good for starters, but Id say that if youre carefull you could try anything. What do you think the most potent and growable strains are? Im thinking about tryin Burma.

Z's. Golden teachers are good. Cambodians don't impress me. Very small. Z's have been the best over all. Hi yeilding, lasts tons of flushes, pins easy even in 80 degrees, big shrooms on later flushes, excellent potency, very laughy intense trips. Golden teachers are big and potent, beautiful too, and my favorite fun strain but just don't have the high yeilds off the Z's.

Cambodians aren't worth the hype they are given. My favorites are Mazatepec and Aussies, eventhough I have found that the name of the strain has very little to do with the quality of mushrooms that you are able to grow. If you care for the mushrooms, they will take care of you.

Good its not just me unimpressed with cambodians. Damned it I made up like 30 cambodian casings too thinking from what people were saying I'd be happy with this strain. Ah well..

Magash, I had some EQ which did quite well out of the vendor syringe. I made my own spore solution from the fruits, and this worked well. THen I got some PES Hawaiian and these were SO slow to colonize my grain jars. I've heard PR are relatively aggressive for colonization. And I've also heard mexicana are pretty cool, as well. I will be ordering out for some shiitake and a cubensis strain this winter. Any thoughts on this? I'm really put off by the growth of the PES Hawaiian, tho now that I've given them their time, they have some nice super-thick cloudy myc in the jars. Any thoughts? Thank you for your help, man!

I'm went with cambodians, but I prefer the Z strain. I hear it's great for newbie growers...I will go with that the next time!

Cambodians aren't horrible. Yeild is small. Mushrooms are small. They're dense and pretty. Almost white caps. A quart only gives me like 10-14 grams dried per flush as opposed to Z's, 23-35 per flush or Brazils, 14-30 per flush. At least with the golden teachers, the yeild is 12-23 per flush and they look really friggen big and thick and beautiful. Golden. And like they could teach you something.
Z's have also been the most potent though I havn't tried the Cam's yet.

Hmmmm.....My PESH went pretty fast. PR are a great strain but can be a little picky at fruiting sometimes. SA (South Americans) do well on rye Also B+ did pretty well on it

So what are people's experiences with Koh Samui? I have what a strain that was called Thai Koh Samui Super Strain, and it's about ready to pin, hoping it's a good strain since the person I got it from claims it's better than ... well lemme quote.
Person:
Quote:
This one is the absolute best cubensis we have ever seen. -Person- dubbed this one a Super Strain. Why? It far exceeds all other cubensis he has worked with by 40%-50%!
Any info on this? =P - Silven

I enjoy B+ , it seems them shrooms always get very big and dense. But I have been playing around with Malabar and they are becoming a fav.
