Inner-city hunt with Mycoguy - 10-21-04
    #3263310 - 10/22/04 02:27 AM (13 years, 6 months ago)

Nice day for a hunt  We checked a number of spots but most were recently trashed by careless pickers. Our finds today pale in comparison to DH and @cro's but it was fun nonetheless.

Let's start with the young blue ringers we came across:

Just a few Cyans:

...and a few more I found on the way home

Long stemmed puffs?:

Can anyone ID these?

Some giants:

BitterPill, I had a fun time meeting and hunting with you. We'll have to do it again some time.

We found quite a few nice little patches out where we were. Many of them had been ravaged and dug through. Mycellium was ripped up in many spots. Someone even found my little patch and took everything that was there. I thought they were hidden pretty well, but I guess not.

We even ran into @cro out there, and he made a very generous offering.
Thanks a bunch. It was nice running into you.

We'll all have to go out again sometime soon.

Until next time...
