Can you imagine skydiving while tripping on shrooms or acid? Holy shit, that would be crazy.

I will be doing this hopefully sometime in the next week or two.
I got a skydive ticket for my birthday, and will probly take a low mushroom dose beforehand, mabey hit up a whippet before jumping out.
Everybody who i'v told this to says i'm crazy, but why not? You only live once, plus the dive costs $150, so i might as well get more bang out of it.

I want to do the same thing. I'm thinking of taking a low dose on a tandem jump. That way the instructor can pull the cord if I wig out.

And on the opposite end of the spectrum you've got SCUBA diving while on 'cid or mushrooms...
I know some older heads who've been open water drift diving while on potent blotters off the Galapagos. I really can't even imagine that being surrounded by the pelagic currents, just drifting in open water with nothing but blue around you... what a setting. Plus you've got to watch your Nitrogen levels and know your timing. SCUBA diving is a trip in itself sober! Same with skydiving.
You are completely out of your element when you're under there though.

I have skydived while tripping..out of pepperell, MA and I must say that I wouldn't recommend it. Unless you're doing a tandem jump which is when someone is on your back and pulls the shoot for you. I say this only because it was very disorienting and almost euphoric in my experience. Euphoric to the point that I forgot, rather didn't want, to pull my shute. I'm a jumpmaster and would never be so reckless again when my livlihood is ata stake. But it was an experience.

My one roomate did a tandem dive for his birthday and took 4 adderall and had a blast. Skydiving sounds cool. But I'd be content shrooming in a desert or at the beach before that.

I have done 2 parachute jumps tripping on acid.
And went snorkeling on shrooms in Jamaica. The snorkeling was great...one of the best trips I ever had.
That first time I parachuted on acid the group of people who went up before me had a problem. The last person out would not get off the spar of the plane...she froze up and wouldn't let go. Well you cant get back in and the plane cant land with you there. So it circled for like 15 minutes while the instructor on the ground tried to convince her to let go and go with it. She ended up loosing her grip after a while and falling off the spar. On her way back her arm hit the tail of the plane and she panicked more. Lucky it was a static line and that pulls your shoot for you. Problem was her shoot tangled at the ropes and you have to kick out in that instance..she would not do so. And to make things worse, she only pulled one hand brake and yanked on it non stop. That causes the shoot to fold in half and she spiraled to the ground really fast. The instructor is screaming into his radio for her to pull the emergency shoot, but she wasn't listening...he gave up at like 1000 feet and threw the radio and said she was a goner. Me and my buddy were tripping our asses off while this happened. At 550 feet she pulled her backup but she didn't have time to flare or anything and crashed in a puff a dust. He called 911 and WE went up after that... there were supposed to be 6 people but it ended up just being me and my friend. We were so pumped up on LSD we didn't give a shit. We jumped...all went well for us.
The idiot lady broke her leg, arm, ankle, and bruised her whole side.
True shit.

If I got over my general fear of psychedelics, I'd do it. At a low dose though, too much and I might forget to pull the cord.

I don't think I could do it unless it was a tandam jump.
Scuba diving would be a BLAST on shrooms/acid. You could just swim around with your airtank for like an hour just trippin.

I snorkeled on Shrooms two or three weeks ago... it was FANTASTIC. I saw three baby sharks swimming together (sand sharks, harmless). They were only 6-8 inches long and were transparent in a lot of places. Looking at the dynamics of the waves through the mask was amazing... I spend a huge chunk of my time looking at waves, but that experience really helped me understand some of the nuances of how they work.

i think i would rather do the gravity drop in knott's berry farm.. or everywhere else they have them. you know the huge towers, the ride goes up and up, then it stops, and drops straight down. i could do this more then once, and wouldnt be too fucked up to not pull the chord or something like that. good luck if you decide to. a tandem would be cool.. just chilling all the way.

I think you'd be so worried about not pulling the cord, that you wouldn't forget to pull it.
I couldn't imagine forgetting to pull the cord.

There is alot more to it than pulling the cord.
Even with a static line jump you need to kick out of twists in the line, steer with the brakes, flare and land properly without hurting yourself and arch properly.
But static line is rare these days. But cheap.
I did 6 static lines for 20$ each.
Thats less than 1 tandem. And I got certified at the same time.

On shrooms I would definitely only do a tandem jump.
Scuba diving in a big coral reef would be fuckin amazing,.

I don't think I'd do it if it was my first time skydiving. There's also the nausea factor.
Well, if you didn't make it, you'd definitely go in a blaze of glory.

I have shroomed and skydived, but never at the same time. I would definitely recommend being experienced in both if you would ever think about doing this. On the other hand, scuba diving while tripping sounds like it would be an amazing experience. I will put that on my list of things to do in my life.

Couldn't you be "attached" to a professional when skydiving? I remember seeing shows where the newbie jumper was strapped onto a pro.
