What could a sad shroomer do, as soon as he finds out that many of his jars, didnt colonize at all, due to waterlogged (?) substrate??? Would leaving the lids off work,(so that needless water evaporates).After that, should little-sad-shroomer... re-sterilize+then re-inoculate??There is no contamination evident and the jars where loosely packed...
ps: He doesnt want to loose his jars, and restart the whole process( if possible), and would try anything!

Clean those suckers out and get another batch going. Remember what you did the first time and don't do it this time. Before long you won't even have to measure your BRF substrates, you'll have the moisture content down.

Man, that sucks.. Maybe practice w/ smaller batches until you get the hang of substrate preparation. Or, try different amounts of water in each jar to get it down.

If you have a PC, grain is also a good way to go. If you pre-soak the grain, there's really no way to screw up the moisture content. Rye works great and you can get it cheap at any feed store.

My foaf will not use flour anymore now that he's discovered grain.

Man...I've had so many screwups I'm about to just give up on the world of shrooming. It seems like something goes wrong everytime. I need serious help.

Cool down G-nome.....you obviously just found out about my disaster......lets start together , and learn from our mistakes.....
There is no reason to give up. Well, if there is, ok, but if the only reason is you screwed up....forget it.
You are inoculating pal. TODAY! :)
Or prepare some bulk, anything..... i want to inoculate 16 jars a day untill..........i reach ......1440. Thats right 1440 jars ,. in 3 months...... i ll have to buy 16 glasses per day though which is.....eeeeeeeeeemm about $10 a day, which meeeaaans......i will have to stop eating. Cool. I CAN DO IT. :}
