There are concerns that a new party drug disguised as a vitamin tablet, has hit the streets in South Australia.
The pill, referred to by dealers as "Vitamin C", is being blamed for a jump in overdose cases in Adelaide.
Last month doctors at the Royal Adelaide Hospital treated five cases in one weekend, where the patients showed signs similar to LSD usage.
The patients thought they had taken ecstasy, but were not expecting to hallucinate.
They told of taking an orange tablet, with the street name of "Vitamin C".
The Royal Adelaide Hospital's David Caldicott, who specialises in designer drugs, says those treated were terrified by their ordeal.
