LEDs as a light source
    #3259787 - 10/21/04 10:57 AM (12 years, 1 month ago)

I'm giving some thought to the lighting system that will be needed in my pmp, and i was curious about who out there uses LEDs as light in their fruiting chambers. I've seen a couple pics with it, but i was curious how those people hooked the LED up to what sort of power source.

Is there a way to hook them up to normal house power or would i be better off using a battery or something similar. Thanks.

I say stick with my eraser cased LED plan if you really want an LED light source. Otherwise, use a glue gun and some clear plastic.

Hey, I have a similar setup to you. I cut 6 small holes in the top of my pmp, put blue lights in, and sealed with glue gun. I hooked them up in a parallel circuit with the power source being a 3 V adapter. I installed a switch and turn in off when I go to bed. Works like a charm.
