Hey, I've never used (or seen) HBWR seeds before, but for those smarter than I, are these seeds scraped or not? The person I got them from said they were not, but they look like it?

Those don't look like the HBWR I have seen....? I would say the person that gave them to you was either mis-informed or is pulling a fast one on you.... The part you are supposed to scrape off is a furry side much like a coconut husk.... Someone will prolly~ post with a good pic.... I might be wrong, but like I said, they don't look like the ones I have seen....
Good luck man....!

Those look a lot more like unscraped Rivea corimbosa seeds than scraped HWBR seeds to me. The two plants are quite similar and the seeds both contain LSA.

Lame. Didn't get ripped off as it was from the free enthobotanical seed thread at the top of the page.

Those are hbwr seeds. I got them from seedrack.com. Whatcom seed co.'s store. Lame, huh? I'll keep my shit out of the free ethno seed thread from now on then. Especially since I still haven't received my poppy seeds. Enjoy them. I have been.

No need to take offense man. I think lame is an appropriate response to people who are informing you that a seed is not what it was said to be. Like I said, I've never seen HBWR seeds before, and most of hte pics I see are not scraped. I assumed that they were scraped woodrose seeds originally. As they look nothing like the unscraped ones on erowid.

They look just like these. Same size as well.
wandrnshaman, didn't mean to complain. Either way I owe you an apology. My original question was if they're scraped or not, since you said they weren't.
One things for sure, theres nothing fuzzy about these seeds. I tried scratching at one and it seems that this is fine.. i guess? My understanding is that its not to be deshelled, simply scrape the fuzz off.
What should I do?

most hbwrs ive came across have no fuzz, just dead dry white skin, take that off if there is any and you are good to go.

all's cool, bro, I try to be a good trader and the word 'lame' kinda got under my skin.
Seedrack's the best site I've found for getting them, not meaning to plug but 5 bucks for 35 seeds is cool; plus they are clean and mostly scraped so I can see the confusion if you or p#1 isn't familiar with them. I only deal with the best.
Like I said, enjoy them.

Here a pic of some seeds that I know for a FACT are HBWR(9 of them and you're feeling damn good):
Sorry quality isn't *great*, I had to set the camera on 400ISO because of lack of lighting. The higher the ISO= more grain. White balance was kinda funky too.
