reading posts in S&P

sometimes, when i click on a post and i begin reading it... the person typing the post makes absolute no sense to me... its all a big word salad!
"its the precognitive effect that can be with it ten!"
what the hell is going on, i think?
i must remember that some people on her arent english first language types, but i sometimes get genuinely freaked out!
i wonder: maybe they are from america, maybe they are from an english speaking/writing place, and they just have garbled thought forms.
whats really going on inside there heads?
i will never know because we cannot communicate properly to find out.
and now that i think about it... i dont think that deep communication, deep understanding can occur, without being in someones physical presence...
there are so many emotions, inflections of mood, and cuts and pops that an emoticon just cannot conduct to another person, like speech and body language can.
i think the people i have understood the most, were ones that i actually had physical contact with... not just speaking about lovers or family, but bets friends that i hug often.
so if this is even true ANYWAYS, what comes first>
understanding/communication
or
physical contact?
thats assuming any of this im writing is making any sense to you, or if it isnt just a figment of my imagination.
peace, whatever.

when i studied linguistics, my tutor told me "body language accounts for 60% of communication"
i asked who worked out that figure, my tutor got a lil pissed. but the point was there. bush is a great one to watch for learning about body language.

A person basically thinks in a certain voice and mood while they are typing. The person at the other end reads it in thier own voice (or a voice manufactured by them) who's charector is depending on the reader's mindset. I think it's actually called something in psychology, but I can't remember it.
I don't know why I typed that.

MAGnum is right. Most of the time when I'm speaking with someone I don't look at their face. I hear their words and (hopefully) understand their emotional involvement with what their saying. But when I'm watching their face I can gage a lot better what their real thoughts and feeling on the subject are. Which is why I hate phonies. They're always trying to get you to believe their reactions are something that their emotions are not communicating. (of coarse sometimes I take it too far and get resentful about someones true emotional reaction when I think it's fake because my reaction wouldn't be the same. Also, some people are really good at masking their true feelings and I am insensitive. Of coarse sometimes I'm really stoned and paranoid and think everyone is in a conspiracy against me and they all hate me and I am completely oblivious to their real motives.) But once in a while I'll be watching someones face as they're talking to me and something about them will change. The shape of their face and the tone of their voice or the unpercievable aura will morph somehow and I think for a second or two that I am seeing deep inside someone. I can really understand what they're feeling. or saying. And it's cool cuz it makes me feel connected.

Perhaps with proper grammar, punctuation and a proof-read first, we could communicate better soley with words. While it is impolitic to say so, your post contained several dozen errors.
Let's make the best of the tool we have BEFORE complaining about it. You want better communication from others while being a sloppy communicator and see no irony in that?

i forget who wrote this but i found it funny, in relation:
A proof existence is not pointless.
1.) A situation with an ironic component has value. 2.) Assume, (toward conditional proof) that existence is pointless. 3.) If Existence is pointless, and humans continue to act as there was a point in spite of this, then the continual struggle of existence is ironic 4.) Humans continue to act as if there was a point to existence. 5.) So, If existence is pointless, then the continual struggle of existence is ironic. 6.) Either existence is pointless, or it is not. 7.) If the continual struggle to exist is ironic, then existence has some value (namely, irony). 8.) For anything, if it has some value, then it has a point. 9.) So, if existence is pointless, then it has a point (namely the value given to it by irony) 9.) So, existance is not pointless.
maybe someone named TomK wrote it? im probably wrong.
either way its funny

the first time i talked with the mushroom the experience really astonished me. it did so, because we've always wondered on how it would be possible to communicate with an alien intelligence. the phenomenology of the dialog with the mushroom is for me inter-species communication technology made real. and what impressed me even further was to find this communication to be much more effective than the one we use daily with each other. i think it's the distance between language and thought. tough thought is itself created upon language, the expression of thought is always a processed byproduct of the mind. telepathy takes communication between individuals to a whole new level, like minds physically touching each other.

I don't buy that "ironic-situations-have-value" horseshit.

A sign posted in the window of a Little Havana (Miami, FL) shop I saw recently said:
"Good english speeched hear."
