    #3253977 - 10/19/04 10:35 PM (19 years, 5 months ago)

Posting these for a member in TX who's having computer troubles. What do you guys think? I don't know jack about cubes in his region.

Sorry but this is the best picture we can get for now.

haha I just noticed that the background is in focus while the part that we want to see is not. Not too convenient.

These were picked from a cow pasture. The membername of the picker is cube421.

They don't look like cubes, but I'm no identifier.

What i will say though is they shouldn't have been picked so early. Let them do their jobs and spread the spores.

Perhaps in North Georgia, but most definitely not in South Georgia

Nope, not cubes. They'd bruise blue if they were cubes.

Im cube421- who requested my friend to post that pic- but anyways- if they arent cubes- any idea as to what they are? i noticed a hint of blue at the bottom of the stems but nothing more than that- sorry for the poor pic quality (only have a 2mp cam) and lack of info- such as a spore print

any help would be gr8ly appreciated, thanks

hard to tell from pick but doesnt look like cubes. they will have a redish orange top fading to white despite their age. and also do the blue test roll the stem between your fingers make sure it crushes good it should turn nice blue color. besides the point we call shrooms that young around here bullets i always pick them cause to my knowledge they are more potent by weight than more mature shrooms. id like to hear some feedback on that.??

If they were P. cubensis, then the blue would be obvious.
