popcorn and pressure cooker
    #3257508 - 10/20/04 07:55 PM (13 years, 7 months ago)

After soaking and draining the popcorn, I put the proper amount into jar. My question is, do I have to place the jars in the pressure cooker immediately for sterilzation or can I wait. The reason for asking is I had a problem with my pressure cooker and have to get a new one.

Then the best idea would be to buy more popcorn considering the cheap price, and the ease of resoaking?

If you get them dealt with before you see any green splotches or cobwebs or that terrible red juicy one, it should be ok to use your popcorn.

Also, I've never kept the popcorn soaking for days on end until I had the use of a PC, it was soaked then drained then waited to waste away. You could try that maybe?
