First Grow, First Casing...

hey I afoaf is on his first grow. he's using taz and b+ and he dunked, cut in half horizontally, and cased the halves side by side in vermiculite with one of the taz jars. when he cased them he put them strait into the fruiting chamber. 2 days after casing there was spikey white myc. growth on the vermiculite so he patched it. the next day (today) he sees more of this spikey white myc. growing so he's just gonna let it grow now and wait for the mushies. does that sound like its going alright?

since he didn't incubate the casing and put it strait into the pod i'm worried. is spikey white myc coming out of the verm good? or is it going to overlay.

The rhizomorphic growth (spikey) is a GOOD thing. Don't worry about overlay. Should see some action in a week or so.

Yes!!! He dunked 10-14, cased 10-15, patched 10-17, and today i check and we have pins!!! the grow started on this thread.
