cake drippage
    #3255454 - 10/20/04 11:45 AM (12 years, 1 month ago)

I have four cakes birthing in a 10-gallon aquarium, humidified by Grow Rocks, with a plexi cover.

Due to the high RH some water drips from the lid onto the cakes.

Does this matter, should I take steps to prevent this?

Much Thanks.

Yes it could cause aborts and increase contam possibilities. It's not too much humitity, it is condensation due to the temperture differences inside your champer and the outside air. Warming up the outside air may help. But if all else fails just wipe it off with a clean dry paper towel each time you fan. Good luck.
