Aborts - when to pick them?
    #3253062 - 10/19/04 09:40 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

At what time are aborts to be picked? During or at the end of the flush? Seen conflicting information about that.

I pick them at the end. Sometimes shroom caps can get dark and look abortish but not be aborts. Havn't had any rotting problems, nor should you if you give them enough fresh air and keep an eye on them. If they get black blue rings on the caps and the caps turn that color you may want to pick them. I still leave them and have had no problems. I guess the safe answer is pick them as you know theyre aborts though.
