Question about incubator

Is it ok to rest jars directly in heated water? Is 82 degrees fine? The jars will ever be covered in foil or have something over them to prevent condesation on the lids.

I did this once and it worked really well. Then I tried a heating pad and it gave basically the same results without all the bother of having the jars in a bucket of water. But yeah this method will work fine.

Alien's tek worked great for incubation. Easy to control temp. Heating pads can be had for $15.00.

The water would be in the larger container. The smaller container is where the jars or whatever go. The smaller container sits inside the larger one with a layer of water all around it.

hang on, for psilocybe cubensis the optimal spawn run temperature is 86 degrees farenheit.
