nice, again mj said that the supposed p. stuntzii there is P. fimetaria before everything got deleted. and it does look alot like the ones in PMOTW... which makes me wonder more about the ones I found, cause I don't really think they looked like that. the pics of subfimetaria on sporeworks site are pretty close, tricky mushrooms . my car was stolen :\ DH

while i dont have PMOTW (yet), i'm not sure about P. fimetaria either because they were growing on woodchips. And arent P fimetaria supposed to be on grassy/manure stuff? and this guy seemed too big to resemble a liberty cap. hmmm i'll look into it more and hopefully that patch will produce more.
wow DH that really sucks

Ps subfimentaria are a species I know quiet well, they grow in pastures often times growing from cow manure directly. MJ also calls this species Ps sierre. The other blue ringers, Ps stunzii and Ps fimentaria I have a hard time with macroscopically and I think for the sack of argument trying to identify the differences between the 2 species from a picture alone is rather pointless and futile.
Psillygirl those are excellent pictures and again i am very jelouse of the cyanofribrillsa.
DH, dude your car got stolen man?? that sucks.

I thought the same, but it mentions they can grow in rich soils too. should throw some spores under the scope, fimetaria spores should be noticeably bigger than cyans...

yeah dude, right outta the garage, whoever stole it left it down the street and it got impounded, but I got it back and it's alright now, just had to pay $350 to the towing co. . I dunno how the fuck they got in the garage or stole it, but it wasn't torn up, just searched through. the ignition was a bit messed up but I got a new key and it works :\. but yeah, I'm thinking those ones I found might be subfimetaria, I'll post the pics again with some of the ones from sporeworks...
