Let her get away?

You ever wonder about lost oppertunity, as in with a love interest that has moved on after you didnt go for it.
I'm starting to wonder if my last love interest didn't move on because I didn't go for it, and right now I'm thinking that I'm a dumb ass for not letting her know how I felt about her. Now she's back with her ex bf of 6yrs, the father of her 7 yr old son.
Sometimes I wonder why I'm so blind, twice in my life I've let 2 women get away that in retrospect were amazing girls. I wonder if they both wonder about me after the fact.
Well if nothing it reminds me that its better to have love and lost than to never have loved at all.
Still hurts though

Better to have loved and lost and all that shit.
But if they moved on, or if you decided you weren't interested...oh hell, I'm in no position to give advice on love tonight.
Catch me tomorrow night.

Yeah this is true.. But then again is it the fact she's moving onto someone else and thats why I'm regretting things?
I mean she went after me, and I played it cool. Now the oppertunity is gone and I'm left wondering what if.
Loves a bitch, you'd think in your 30's you'd be better at this game, but nooooooooo, its still crazy

Yes, I know what you're talking about. Even in my 40s, it's better to be the one breaking it off. When "she/he" is the one who left, you wonder if you made a mistake, or something.
I probably have your sit all wrong. I apologize in advance.
If it's gone, regardless of who did the letting go, it was probably meant to be let go.
See, the way I see it, we are all works in progress, being prepared for the person with whom we are supposed to spend the rest of our lives.
Everyone else is just practice.

Love hurts and drives you nuts. I rather avoid it all together

I so don't agree, no matter what love is one thing that makes you feel alive, the good and horribly bad.
Nothing else in life feels like it, and no pain is like it. But in the end isn't it the one thing we all crave for? I know it is for me

No, don't avoid it completely. Ohmigod, the feeling of falling in love, of being in love, it's the most orgiastic experience that can be experienced by a human being. Well, I think, that is.

It's one of the best feelings in the world. It's also one of the worst as well. Why that is I can't say...

But thats the thing..
You can't truly appreciate true joy without true pain.
Thus Love is so powerfull cause it encompasses both.

Love is the greatest, most terrible thing in the universe. Embrace it, even if it does hurt you. You will never feel anything that feels as good as love, and being in love, and fancying people, and brotherly love, and friend love. I sincerely believe in love, and it believes in YOU.

I actually did get to amend a situation like that once. Told the girl I loved her. Not that she came back to me, but that's not what I was going for (at least, hasn't.. yet. mwaha)
blah that's far too long of a story. love's a bitch but what can you do, you don't want to feel bad yourself but having the person you love feel bad for anything they've done is much worse.
i say to damn with the awkwardness, clear the air, and don't let it change anything. maybe you'll wind up suffering a bit, but that's good for you. come clean, refuse any pity that might come up; don't try and make it a plea to come back to you.. that's coersive, and won't work in the long term. best to put it out there and just let her know. be calm and cool about it. who knows.. maybe she'll stew on it for a while and come back. and maybe not.. but she'll know that someone cares for the right reasons at least, and hey, it's love, right? that's about making someone else happy. sometimes it's just not on the terms that you want.
and hey, i got a good deal out of the admission, myself.. actually made the relationship between us a lot less complicated and honest i'd say. and hey who knows.. i should be movin back down there in a few months, and even if we don't start dating again there's still a great friendship there
-------------------- i finally got around to making a sig revel in its glory and quake in fear at its might grar.
