Please read this article, and if it outrages you as much as it has me, send it to as many people as you can. I can't believe this...many tears will be shed for this man. "Be the change you wish to see..." Ghandi

......I hate the fact that his life was ended because he had some weed on him. This makes me feel like shit. Wish I could have gone to jail for 10 days for him......I hate this countrys stupid possession laws. Maybe his death will open some eyes of the bastards who listen to the TRUTH commercials about this shit.

thats really, really harsh....making a quadrapalegic (sp?) even go to jail. Fine the poor bastard if you are intent on screwing him over, but making him do any sort of time is insane.

wouldn't that fall under cruel and unusually punishment sense the judge had the option of probation and sent this man who needs countless hours of medical attention to jail. There are times that things should just be overlooked because of the circumstances. If a man was rushing his wife to the hospital to have a baby would the officer pull him over and give him a ticket....probably not.

of course he wont....he'll pass the buck. he'll rationalize it "well he desrved the jail time, but i didnt say that he shouldnt have gotten adequate care while incarcerated. thats the prison system's fault."
christ, has he ever even been inside of a prison that he's sentenced someone to be "rehabilitated" in???
I doubt it.

yeah, thats the sad thing...he'll probably just say it was someone else's fault or he was a "drug user" and not care.

it IS the prison systems fault.
He died becuse of bad treatment, not becuse he was a drug user.
Pot is still illegal, like it or not.

yeah, i mean, he was abusing himself anyways by using such an unhealthy drug. i say the pot killed him, it unfortunately just coincided w/ his prison time
