FICUS TREE
    #3249624 - 10/12/04 11:56 PM (13 years, 8 months ago)

Hi my name is Terrie and I am new. I hope to get to know some of ya real soon. But I have a problem that I was hoping that someone will be bale to help me with. I have a 8 foot braided Ficus tree in my living room and I water it once a week. I know I need to water more often, but I noticed the branckes are covered in little small blister like black spots all over. Can you tell me what that might be and if you know of a way to get rid of it. This plant was givin to me by a very special person and I would hate to have it die.
Thank You so much for your input.

~Terrie~

Lol Thanks, I just took the tree outside and dumped about 2 gallons of water in it. Some of the leaves are brown and curled and the leaves are thinning.
I just have never seen little black blisters the size of fleas on the branches before. Hmmmm. i just hope the watering does the trick

I had yellowing and black blistering/rotting on mine as well.  I'm reseeding my grass right now so we flooded the lawn which the tree sits in, and BOOM its green as ever now.
