Quick Question about Aborts and Drying
    #3249549 - 10/12/04 11:41 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

Are aborts with blackened heads still edible?

and

If a mushroom has been dried almost cracker-dry, then starts to get mushy under 24 hours later, it got a little black in the middle of the stem, can you finish drying it and will it still be useful?

Yeah I keep all my aborts and make tea with them. Unless the fugus has totally rotted to the point of being very black and mushy. I eat it anyway.
