Working otu makes me feel sick...

I've found that about an hour or so after I work out, I feel really sick to my stomach, like I'm going to throw up.
Why is this?

You might be anemic. Do you get the daily recommended amount of iron? It takes a lot of oxygen for muscle cells to function properly. Eat plenty of liver and red meat.

What kind of exercise are you doing? If you're doing cardio, then it's pretty common to feel sick. If you're doing weight training, are you doing high reps? That causes a lactic acid buildup which could account for the sick feeling. Either way, as you get in better shape your body will adapt and you won't feel as sick.

it can be a number of things. basically, you're running out of calories and fuel. once you start running low on calories, your body produces and enzyme which starts to break down muscle for use as energy. also, you may be exhausting your self. low blood sugar may contribute too.
what kind of workout? do you warm up first? give us some details of your workout..

I get that. Usually it happens when I'm out of shape or haven't exercised in a long time.
It does go away.

I feel that I haven't had a good work out unless I feel sick like that. As I get in better and better shape it gets alot harder to get there but increasing the difficulty level usually keeps that sick feeling happening around the hour and a half mark.
I have puked from working out. I dont know why but it gets me high.

I'm talking about cardio.
I usually do warm up, and it still feels like that.
I've only started working out in the last 2 weeks, so maybe I'm just out of shape? If so, is this a good sign? I'm burning a lot of calories?

It's natural to feel like if you've worked your body really hard. Some bodybuilders, like recalcitrant said, love that feeling because it means they put in a good workout. After you work out more your body will adjust and it can withstand more work before you start to feel sick.

Make sure you include weights. cause once you lose the weight, there wont be much muscle, youll just be a stick. but depends on what your goals are.

Actually, I have some muscle mass currently, and I am working with the weights to some degree, but I am more concerned about losing fat.
I wouldn't mind being a bit skinny.

You have to get your heart rate up for a good thirty minutes each day. I run a mile and a half each day at a pretty good pace: says 7.5 on the treadmill Then I do two miles on that thing with the paddles. It works the hell out of the quads and lower back and hips. Then I do weights After that I feel dizzy as hell and physcally beat.
