TIGHT or LoOsE foil for 1/2 pt?
    #3247501 - 10/12/04 03:53 PM (13 years, 2 months ago)

Okay I've got jars that are almost 80% done or so.... I've had 2 thick layers of alum. foil over the tops of my 1/2pt BRF jars.... wondering if loostening it up a bit would quicken colonization time.. or would it risk contams more?? Help appreciated!

Samuel

Vegetative state like lots of CO2. If they are increasing in size, you'll probably slow the growth down if you bleed air in. And contamination is another BIG concern. Let them finish.
