Amanita muscaria var. formosa. Nice. I saw a baby with no warts this week.

Those are different than Amanitas. How tall are they? I thought when I saw the pics from yesterday they were maybe two and a half inches tall

The tallest one was maybe 6-8 inches tall.

Here they are in their habitat... You can probobly tell their size by the small leaves and ferns nearby.

Those are bad ass shrooms. I just got a copy of "Guide to Common Mushrooms of British Columbia" Good for our climate, but I can't navigate it quite yet. I am looking to see what else they might be besides Amanita Muscaria.

The one I posted is gemmata I think. Yours look different to me. Duller color almost, more tan-yellow.
