what is your ultimate life goal?
    #3245207 - 10/11/04 09:31 PM (19 years, 6 months ago)

and do you think it can be achieved?

Pesonally all of my dreams in life are quite possible, and even likely to come to pass, although their is a question of weather or not those dreams will stay the same as i grow older

Here's a good life goal I'm actually pursueing: Taking all that time and energy that's so easy to put into shitty jobs and putting it into things I like doing. Your job sucks but it's so easy to get up and be there all day, then the things you really like are so much harder to get up and do with that kind of regularity and discipline.. this I find very disturbing, and I'm trying to rectify it.

Wait.... I'm confused. What does sex have to do with your ability to perform as an athlete?

Feed all hungry, cure ailing diseases, and unite humans to work together for equal necessity and education.

Yes it will be achieved.

what I will probably work on the most is helping others.  most of what I'm going to go to school for this goal.  Its not only just helping people, but rather I like to do it.

what I really want to do is teach math and science as a professor at a college

i know I've had teachers that taught me way more through their actions and how their personalities.  I actually got a taste of what that was like when I taught calculus classes on fridays fpr a couple of years. what was really good was that I didn't get paid for this, just credit.

I wasn't the real teacher, but I woud sit in on their classes, jot things down. then on fridays they had the option to attend my class and I would review for them what the professor had shown them, and then helped with their homework.  most of the students attended so these were classes of 20+ people

I have to say that when I can help a person get a problem, when the lightbulb goes on upstairs, it's wonderful. especially when they smile, it was very rewarding on a level money cant even fathom.

--------------------
Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

heh kaiowas, you stay away
eventually, when I finally finish my money-saving back-home break from college and get, er, back to college and finish
math/science teacher/proffesor's what i'm aimin for myself :o

never've really taught or tutored in an OFFICIAL capacity, but I'm pretty much the guy in the back who's half-asleep that random people'd ask "Uh hey.. do you know how to do this one?"
I've shown sorority girls how to understand chemistry and physics.. and for that, I should get a medal
actually I shoulda got laid but I think they thought I was high :o

All I really want is
a job that pays enough for me to take care of bills, my infrequent purchases of alcohol and more frequent purchases of ciggs and green, occasionally a cheap, old movie for 5 bucks, and enough left to put away for emergencies (such as the car I got back in april)
and a female someone who's got enough of a head on her to not think I'm weird for reading constantly and spending so much time on my computer, but childish enough to both make and laugh at fart jokes.  ps also, hot, also, must smoke pot, probably best if she doesn't want kids at least for a good while yet 'cause I still friggin hate and get nauseus around babies.  also hot.

shouldn't be too hard.  #1 won't be too much of a stretch for me, really, and #2.. well, I've come close (though not on quite that serious of a level).  and hey, I did recently get a phone message from that close one to get my ass back down south soon, so who knows? heh.

i finally got around to making a sig
revel in its glory and quake in fear at its might
grar.

And there... will you be free. Into the light!!!

No offense, but your question is silly. Ask the very same person the same question at ages 5, 15, 35, 55, and 75 and you will get a completely different answer.

By using the word "ultimate", that would mean that the question would NEVER have to be asked again; whereas one's goals will constantly change as the person changes.

My specific life goals tend to change over time. But my ultimate goal is that at the end of it all, I'll be able to look back on it and say, "Man, I lived one hell of a life!"

"what is your ultimate life goal?"

To live!

Everything else is just a sub-quest

I've achieved my goal every day for over 23 years, and will continue to achieve it every day until I die
