Does the Mycelium for this strain look any " Different" than normal Mycelia?? All I have seen seems to be more cotteny and much less Rhizomorphic, and I just want to make ecrtain this is not contams.

Thanks.

I noticed the exact same thing when putting LY spores to agar. The growth looked like a cross between P. trop and normal cubie. It was reminiscent of contams, but have no fear, it's normal.
I've fruited fine off this odd agar growth, but immediately try cloning the first nice fruit. . .the cloned mycelium does not resemble the initial culture in the slightest. That initial look is also lost if you subculture a few times.

The above information is complete fiction.
