Title says it all really, I have some Loph. and Ariocarpus seedlings that germinated about 5 days ago, although they aren't what I normally see. If it was one or the other I'd just put it down as a trait. But can small slow growing globular cactus stretch for light in the same way as leafy plants?
Yeah, they will stretch but they are also sensitive to too much light. You have to constantly watch them. Soon as they start to look brownish you cut back the light. Make sure they don't dry out because they are vulnerable at that age.
-------------------- “A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)
