    #3242163 - 10/11/04 09:28 AM (12 years, 1 month ago)

Man these batteries I got from Newegg are junk...half of them seem to not even work. Anybody can recommend a good brand? I was thinking energizer....

I've got an AA/AAA Rayovac charger/rayovac Nickle Metal Hydride set.

The nickle metal hydrideds are key.....they seem to do much better under strain than than the Nickle Cadmium.

I've got 8 Powerex 2200 mAH AA NiMH. Also got the POWEREX MH-C401FS Charger to go with it. It works great, because it has 2 modes of recharge, a fast 100 minute one and a slow 5 hour one. I've read those super quick charges aren't that good, because they don't charge them to their full capacity, and they get hot and decrease the battery life. But Nickel metalhydride is the way to go, up to 500 recharges, with no memory effect.

just stay away from chinese rechargable, and you will get decent quality, also it helps to match rechargable batteries with your shit. in other words use japanese recharge batteries for japanese digital cameras.etc. etc.

lots of battery, good explaination about batteries. This test was done with digital cameras, because they are high drain devices. I'd stick with powerex.

rayovac ic3 works well it is a super fast 15 minute charger. they work so fast cuz each battery has a chip in it to tell the charger when its full and to switch to trickle mode. you can find them at walmart

Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.
