Yes, they are awesome. They are perfect for air exchange and create ideal humidity conditions also. They are best when paired with an ultrasonic.

How exactly can they be used in a terarrium? I happen to have one, but I never considered using it. I was going to go with Perlite.

What about with this ultrasonic?

It has 2gal per day output w/"soothing, visible mist"

I've been having trouble locating info on good ultrasonics... or is the ultrasonic usually also a vicks?

Ah, that sheds alot of light on the subject! So I'm assuming that the kaz would be fine then... A couple questions though... If the martha is in a closet, does the vicks need to be outside of the closet (not the martha, the actual closet) to pump enough fresh air? Also, what are those hose fittings sold as? Is that plexiglass on the Ultrasonic? Thanks.

The vicks will be fine in a closet with the Martha.

Fittings are sold at Home Depot in the electrical dept. They are called Liquid Tight fittings.

Yes, it is plexi glass. It is inside, hung by zip-ties so the fittings/hoses would not put weight on the martha plastic. It is there to just support the hoses/fittings.
