Damn dude, you spell like me...! I think as you learn thru experience, each dose is defined by what you want to experience at the time.... Having said that, I prefer lower doses....

Probably 5 grams, altough due to various reasons, I usually indulge on 3 or 4g. I've wanted to try a larger dose for a while, but I've never had adequate supplies :/

I don't really have one. It depends on what I'm in the mood for. If I'm at a festival or concert of some sort, then about half an eighth. If I'm with a group of friends, about 3-4 dried grams. If I'm by myself seeking spiritual enlightenment, then about 5-7 dried grams.

Most i've tried so far is 4.3, which i loved. I just wanted to go deeper, have the complexity increase and really get otherworldly on me. Next trip i have is going to be in the 6-8 range i'm thinking.

Third Day: four or five grams
Otherwize 3.5 is good for a night.

I've had fun on the moderate to high doses, i dont care for anything under 2.5, but to be honest i usually never weigh mine out, just grab some and eat. they are usually always fresh so that makes a big difference on my trip.

Now that getting shrooms isn?t an issue I?ve been experimenting with low doses..1g-2g and really like the experience. When it was feast or famine I would scarf down all I had at once and smoke bombers?but I don?t smoke on these low doses b/c the dope would mask the subtle effects. If you have easy access to them, just play around and feel the drug out at all levels. Quite enjoyable!

I think around 5 g is usually perfect, and I have almost no tolerance thank god, normally 1.5 g gives me moderate effects. I got a friend though, who is less experienced then I am who has to eat at least 7g to experience anything, the last time I tripped with him he ate 14g and seemed to be having about the same experience I was getting off of just 3.5g! my guess is that it has something to do with the way the kid eats pain killers like candy. If I had to eat that much, I'm not sure if I'd even waste my money on it.

Around 5g dried (Psilocybe Subaeruginosa) with pot smoked during the peak...oooooohh yeaaahhhh!!!! That'll send ya! Also, like PsillyOne, I enjoy around 300ug of LSD...even 400ug is good.

Ive eatin 3.5, 5, and 7 grams. The last two trips were 7 grams, and were somewhat weaker than the 5 gram trips (maybe a weaker batch). but 5 grams is great. And i love it when it gets real weird or creepy, so much fun.

5 grams dry usually gives a great experience, but two weeks ago 5 gs seemed like 2. Fluctuations in potency like everyone else mentions is what I chalked it up to.

Never have weighed the 2 freshies I usually eat after checking my haul, but damn, they're good. I'm gonna make a mental note of how much fresh it takes to equal 5g dry. If I was hardcore enough about it I could dose fresh every time, almost worth the effort.

i was about to bitch about how cubensis-orientated these forums are when i saw wannasub's post about ps subaeruginosa 
whoa man, 5g dried?!? i hit plateau effects on about 1.5-2grams. Beyond that the trip becomes purely incomprehensible and can verge on catatonia....
My ideal levels I would say are 1-1.5gram dry of ps semilanceata and 1.5 of ps subaeruginosa (the only two i have much experience with )

Well...let me tell you, it was the most intense experience I have ever had. Absolutely perfect trip to say the least, although I freaked out for about 2 mins as soon as I smoked some pot. I overcome that and now I can say that I have experienced ego death...and it was absolute heaven. I will never forget it as long as I live, thats for sure!

35-40 grams of fresh cyans. I find they are much more intense when fresh. Even if you take more dried ones. Worse on the stomach though

Low doses sort of bother me the same way, because i guess i'm expecting too much from the little precious mushrooms. I try not to trip very often (once a month is ideal for me), and i like eating from 5-7 grams dried. 5 grams is definitely my favorite dosage level.

Favorite dose: 50 grams FRESH
I love fresh mushrooms so much more than dried ones. Dried ones I can eat, but usually need to mix them with something to keep myself from getting that "I want to gag" feeling.
Fresh mushrooms I just chow down on, and 50 grams fresh can really blow my mind. 70 grams fresh proved to be a tad on the hairy side.

Man some of those doses seem high to me.
I do 2g dry and get a high level 3 low level 4 trip. Same with my GF.
Maybe they are just strong.
Those are cubensis. I tried 1g of Ps. Mexicana and got to the same point.
I personally liked the Ps. Mexicana a little better than the Ps. Cubensis.
On a side note, 3.5g of the Ps. Cubensis gave me a surprise level 5. That was one hell of a trip!

it all depends were i am going to be taken them and with who. i can not really say there is a favorite amount. i believe you need to evaluate the surroundings of where you are going to be eating them and with who. it is usually between 3 and 6 grams however.

I feel ya there, i usually do this too. Start out with 2 grams or so, and when it begins to kick in, i munch on the rest of em. I recommend people try this, it goes a lot smoother on the come up and progresses very nicely.

Id have to say my favorite dose of cubes was 8g dry, even though ive only done it a few times. My favorite dose with azurescens is 3g and cyan is 1g. All of which seemed scary at the time but its when i look back on them is when i feel like it had some meaning.

about a week ago me and buddy split 3.3 grams dried cubensis and tripped HARD. i had vivid visuals just like the visuals i get from eating an eighth. this is the hardest ive ever tripped off only around 1.6 grams.
we had a strong empathic bond as well. a learning experience indeed.
for summer time nature walks : 3.5 - 5 grams dried
night time house trips 1.6 - 3.5 grams

5g is pretty sweet, but its not the type of trip I could do all the time. I guess 2.5-3.5 is my fave.

So far my favorite experience has been with 4 grams dried. Plan on eating 5 grams dried soon.

After over 10 years and 100+ trips...
I have done 12gr dried and the famed 1/8oz quite often. But older and wiser I have arrived at far more modest doses.
As a Social Aid akin to MDMA I use 0.25-0.5gr dried.
As a Plant Teacher in Meditation, for lighter trips and forest-walks 0.5-1gr is just right.
For Fully Commited in-depth tripping I use 1-3gr.
Unless you use the mushroom too often or too casually you will actually grow more sensitive to it over the years, as it takes less and less to immerse you, as your (subconscious) resistance to its effects sinks to minimal. You oil the hinges of the Doors of Perception so they open with far less effort.
My most Spiritual Trip I had on 0.5gr of Liberty Caps which included leaving my body behind to enter a Desert where my Spirit sat wrapped in a blanket in the cold of the desert night while by the campfire a Spirit Guide layed it all down for me.
