I was probally in there for an hour and a half. FUCKIN DRUG LAWS are so pointless. I didn't have my can. My parents are mad kinda I might be able to go out with you guys this weekend. I am in trouble until the DA calls.

Schools have the power called "in loco parentis" basically meaning they can search you. Doesn't sound like an unlawful search. Try to bargain out of it if the cops show up, and I hope you aren't 18 yet.

Shit, fuckin States is so paranoid. Up here in Canada we have no cops at schools cause we have no crazy motherfuckers only gangs that attack eachother. Also I know here and its prob the same, its section 10 of the narcotics act that the peace officer must have a reasonable suspicion that you have the drugs to even check you, and if the principle said he knew you were not smokin' a spliff then I cannot see any reasonable grounds. But then again its the states.
PS our government is trying to legalize or decriminalize marijuana.

Dude don't listen to these morons telling you your principal needed a search warrant, search warrants are for the cops and no one else. It doesn't matter wether he was supposed to search you or not, it still can be used against you in court. I'm sure it was a perfectly legal search even though that does suck it's the truth.

when i was in school some one told the principal that i was sellin pot and i wasent but i was smokin during lunch os i had my glass and about a half of a dime on me. thats when i use to waste my money on dime bags and i had them in a pouch in my backpack and when he searched me he diddent open the pouch he just looked in the part of the backpack that it was in. that was the one of the colsest calls i ever had good thing he was a dumb fuck or i would have been in some shit

Yea that sucks getting caught like that. They can pretty much search you whenever they want, though here in Canada its not as bad as the cops tend to be slightly more liberal and actually tend follow the rules their given. Though school admins and cops can get away with about anything... just make sure that they don't try and say you were dealing or anything because thats when you'll get in shit. But I think with only 3 grams of unknown shrooms on a teen, they can't do a whole lot other than suspend/expulsion and possible comunity time.

They can search your bag, locker, anything, as long as they have "reasonable suspicion" something is going on. Personally, I'd try to make this a case where they didn't have reasonable suspicion to search you. Here, our teachers/deans follow a guideline, to the point where something has to be singled out and have a great amount of information or multiple people narking. Good luck man, my guy got busted with a gram of herb and a sneak-a-toke at school, and he is in boot camp now.
