How long should a 23 quart PC take to go up to 15 PSI?

Just a matter of minutes once the weight has been put on, then turn the heat down after the weight starts to giggle or if your lucky enough to have a guage also you can turn it down just as it reaches 15lbs. GL

I posted on another thread about this, but on this new PC my friend got, he let the msteam out, and put the weight on while the PSI was at 0. The PSI slowly went up while the stove was set to high. it slowly went up. he finally turned it down to medium when it reached 10. Was that bad?

Yep thats not how to do it! You want to PC at 15lbs. if given the choice! :wink:
