I've been checking out the Shroomery for some time now, but I am sort of shy. I'm older than most of the folks here and I didn't want to intrude or feel rejected. My computer skills are fairly primitive, and a friend had to help me scan and post the avatar. I was at last year's Astoria gathering (Hi, Papaver and all the Astoria gatherers!) and had a great time. A friend told me that it was best to just read for awhile before I posted. I log on to the Shroomery nearly every day. I've learned a lot and laughed and enjoyed every minute of it. It's great living in the Pacific Northwest where there are so many interesting shrooms and shroomers. Two years ago I was living in Kansas, and now it's hard to realize what a wonderful place Oregon's Willamette Valley is. Thanks for your words of welcome!

Welcome to the Shroomery, and specifically, the PUB :smile: Pub people are cooler and nicer than everyone else, and you should never ever feel rejected here! There are all ages here (from all over the world!), so you can't feel old either :wink: If it wasn't for the older people who figured out all the wonderful things that there are to shroom about, there would be much less progress on this site.
