Is it viable to add a little H202 in with the substrate/verm. mixture? What about adding it to the "dunking water"? I've only heard people mention using H202 with perlite and not much else.

i spritz some h2o2 solution on casings to hydrate them and if i suspect contams i go nuts with it. adding it to the dunking water is definitly a good idea, h2o2 will hardly affect the cake and will kill off some nasties.

i really don't use it in my substrate mixture, it all gets pced anyways.

i do use it in my water hand sprayer in a 10 parts water, 1 part h2o2 mixture.

I think if you added it to the substrate mixture it would break down when you steralized your jars and if it didnt which im pretty positive it would it would just kill of the spores. It dosent hurt mycellium but it dose kill spores thats what makes it so great to use in everything.
